Out Pile too! Review on
A disc rock and roll sung in Italian, for a label which until now has published hard indie rock in English (or at least the instrumental scores of Cherry Cat On The Big Chill), is, if not a chance (we're still talking about a very small market, alas), at least a good bet . It may seem trite to say, but those 42 we have been right this time, because the debut of Shout, the quartet of Frosinone, is one of those discs that, beyond the quality of the repertoire (however good, in this case, with just some - though fun - filler), works mainly with the attitude and the ability to communicate through the physicality of sound. Rock'n'roll we said, in a spirit of garage across the entire lineup: the attack on Radio Birdman bukowskiana of "Love is a Dog from Hell" alone could explain the theorized a few lines ago, but through the net of a sound and compact raw as a few (at least at this moment, in this place) there is also room for a ballad like "Oh My Darlin '", or to beat the choruses of "My love in a blender," a hilarious tale of love cannibal or, for the overwhelming initial steamroller, "Chlorine in the nose" and monotonous as the tribal Monks playing Celentano. If you appreciate Dropkick Murphys of Other early or , this could be the disc unconscious (but by no means naive) for you.
